If only this were the sight to greet Nick Griffin this Sunday - Thousands
of Party Members coming to vote. But which way, Nick ?
Well, I have decided.
For some inexplicable reason an email inviting me to an officer's meeting arrived in my inbox THE DAY AFTER the meeting took place even though it was dated ten days earlier and most certainly WAS NOT in my inbox the day before.
The vagaries of the email servers the party and its regions use leave little to the imagination in the "pissup in a brewery" stakes.
However, despite being told (twice, once by Mr Walker in person and once by Jennifer Mathys by letter) that my party membership had lapsed - even though I had renewed it and had the email saying thank you and the line from my bank statement showing funds taken from my account in favour of some strangely named asociation of which I expect Nick Griffin is sole beneficiary - I have now received my party card for the third year running, and more importantly my invitation to attend the General Members Meeting.
An invitation I warmly accept. Although as my passport has expired I have no "photo-id" except my PADI Diver Card (which was what I used to get into Question Time) so I may not get into the meeting. How strange that the party whose leader, at the Euro Elections, proudly proclaimed "it is not our party who demand the police have the right to stop you as you walk home from the pub and demand to see your papers" now demands that we now submit to that same control freakery and present photo-id or accept that we will be denied access.
Well Mr Griffin my Birth Certificate was good enough for the Returning Officer when I took my nomination papers to stand as General Election Candisate for the party you then led and now mislead, and I will be offering my expired passport, my birth certificate and my PADI Photo card to your paid thugs as evidence of who I am. If they refuse it, well, I'll have something to write about when I get home won't I.
Yes, I have decided. I have decided that I will be at your General and subsequent Voting Members Meeting even though it means a 175 mile trip each way. I want to see this charade for myself. What I do then depends on what happens when I get there.

John, stick with the program Comrade, don't let a Sycophant get between you and your real friends in Wales; it is what he wants, it is what he is good at.
DIVIDE AND CONQUER.

Ah but here's the issue, Extant.
The day after Nick Griffin was elected as an MEP I said it was time the party reogganised itself. We have ONE man doing EVERYTHING. No other party - not even the Monster Raving Looneys - do that.
Nick is doing three jobs right now.
He is the elected member for a Euro Region. hetherefore has a suty to the constituents that voted him in to serve in that capacity.
As Party Leader he is responsible for personification of the party ideology and policy.
But as Chairman he is also in charge of the business side of everything.
I have said for a long time that it is too much. But I have said it quietly, and I have said it inside the ranks.
If you REALLY think a bloke I worked with for five years (yes, you forget, the "sycophant" you refer to was a fellow combatant in my high roller freelancing days has anything fto do with this post, you REALLY don't know me and you EALLY haven't got a clue.
Wake up and read the Motions.
